Illmatic 15-years Later

Over at the T.R.O.Y. Blog, they received a scan of XXL's April 2009 issue, in which there is an article spotlighting the 15th anniversary of the release of Nas' Illmatic. Most circles regard it as the greatest rap album ever recorded. Nas, Q-Tip, Large Professor, L.E.S., Dj Premiere, MC Serch, and the little homie Jungle who ain't nothin' but a garden to me, among others, all weigh in on this classic album. Last night I got the chance to check out the Notorious movie, and it was pretty ill. I definately recommend going to see it if you are a hip hop fan in anyway. Here he can be seen doing “One Love,” “The World Is Yours” and “Life’s A Bitch Live” up top, “It Ain’t Hard To Tell” and “Represent” is down bottom. Word up to the Dopeboyz.

If you look closely you can see B Mart, Danny, Joe, and I getting hyphy during Represent.
