Video: Chester French & Clinton Sparks Make Mixtape

So as you can tell this blog mainly focuses on music of the hip hop persuasion, but this band by the name of Chester French is all I have been listening to for last few days so I had to share the love. In case you haven't already heard, these guys met at Harvard (yes the college) and formed a band that eventually caught the ear of Skateboard P. Long story short, they are now signed to Star-Trak and maintain a huge buzz online. Above is a video of how they came to be and their upcoming mixtape with Clinton Sparks, and down below I threw up a couple of their music videos for you to peep. I am sure there will be much more to come from these guys.

Video: Eminem Inducts Run DMC Into Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame!

Legendary Rap Pioneers, Run DMC, were recently inducted into the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame with a really great speech from Eminem. Marshall talks about the many ways Run DMC affected him and Curtis growing up, and their huge influence on all of hip hop culture. Definitely check it out.

I can not believe that three weeks after the fact we are still getting new performance videos from this year's SXSW festival! As to avoid the feeling of missing out on all this is dope, I will definitely be in the house next year.
